Russia writes off most of all debts to Kyrgyzstan

The largest recipients of Russian aid are Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Tajikistan. At the same time, exactly to our country Russia has written off most of our debts. The report «Monitoring of the Economic Situation in Russia» by the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration says.

The report notes that Kyrgyzstan has received $ 322.8 million in 2015, including contributions to the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. And as for 2011-2015, it was $ 653 million. Armenia has received $ 37.4 million in 2015, and in 2011-2015 — $ 57.3 million. As for Tajikistan, the figures were $ 21.8 and $ 79.5 million.

In total, over the past 11 years, Russia has written off $ 703.2 million of external debt to Kyrgyzstan.

In the first half of 2016, Moscow wrote off $ 30 million to Bishkek, and in June 2017 — the joint remaining debt of $ 240 million.

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Belarus are mentioned among other recipients of Russian aid in the post-Soviet space, the report notes.
