Kyrgyzstan's national debt grows by $ 97.71 million over month

Over the month, Kyrgyzstan’s national debt grew by other $ 97.71 million. Thus, since the beginning of the year, it has increased by $ 313.97 million. Such data was presented by the Ministry of Finance of the country.

It is noted that as of August 31, the state debt was $ 4,378.71 billion, or 300,764.62 billion soms.  $ 3,984.54 billion (273,690.08 billion soms) is the country’s external debt, and $ 394.17 million (27.74.54 billion soms) is internal one.

Note, since the beginning of the year, the national debt continues to grow. If on December 31, 2016 it was $ 4,065 billion, now it’s $ 4,378.71 billion. At the same time, the country owes the most to the Export-Import Bank of China — $ 1, 639.18 billion (41.1 percent of the external debt).
