Sapar Isakov tells leaders of CIS countries about presidential elections in KR

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan told the leaders of the CIS countries about the forthcoming presidential elections in the republic.

According to him, the activities of the mission of observers, which have been sent to Kyrgyzstan, are an integral element of cooperation within the CIS.

We have all the conditions, as well as a strong political will to hold these elections at the highest level in terms of openness. The people of Kyrgyzstan are convinced of the possibility of a change of power through free democratic elections. All politicians and political parties are provided with equal conditions for self-realization and participation in this process.

Sapar Isakov

«The pre-election struggle must go strictly in accordance with our domestic legislation and international norms, with the active participation of foreign observers. Results of elections should be the fruit of only an open, honest internal struggle. Another option in any manifestations for the people of Kyrgyzstan is unacceptable,» the head of government said.

Recall, Prime Minister Sapar Isakov went to the summit in Sochi instead of the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
