5 people including Kyrgyzstani killed in plane crash near Almaty

Five people, including a citizen of , were killed in a plane crash near Almaty. Kazakh media reported.

According to them, light aircraft An-28 of East Wing airline, which followed Almaty — Shymkent route, disappeared from the radar 12 minutes after take-off. Later it became known that it crashed from Almaty airport and caught fire. All five people aboard were killed.

Citizen of Kyrgyzstan Tsoy G. was the pilot in command; the second pilot was a citizen of Kazakhstan E. Kutafin.

Two health care workers and aircraft technician were also aboard.

It is noted that the plane was flying to Shymkent for consulting a patient.
