5 people including Kyrgyzstani killed in plane crash near Almaty

Five people, including a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, were killed in a plane crash near Almaty. Kazakh media reported.

According to them, light aircraft An-28 of East Wing airline, which followed Almaty — Shymkent route, disappeared from the radar 12 minutes after take-off. Later it became known that it crashed 28 kilometers from Almaty airport and caught fire. All five people aboard were killed.

Citizen of Kyrgyzstan Tsoy G. was the pilot in command; the second pilot was a citizen of Kazakhstan E. Kutafin.

Two health care workers and aircraft technician were also aboard.

It is noted that the plane was flying to Shymkent for consulting a patient.
