National Bank fines owners of exchange offices for work without license

The National Bank continues to fine owners of exchange offices for work without a license. Official website of the bank reported.

According to it, owners of two exchange offices in Uzgen city, Osh region, were fined for unlicensed currency exchange. Two more offices worked illegally in Ala-Buka town in Jalal-Abad region. Each owner of exchange offices was fined for 100,000 soms.

Recall, the new fines came into force last year. They have grown almost tenfold. The maximum fine for an official for the work of an exchange bureau without a license is now 250,000 soms, and for violation of banking legislation — 100,000.
