Deputies ratify agreement on border with Uzbekistan in first reading

The deputies of the Parliament in the first reading supported the ratification of the interim agreement on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, the press service of the Parliament reported.

Recall, the discussion of the document was held behind closed doors.

 84 out of 86 deputies voted for adoption of the document.

Two parliamentarians — Myktybek Abdyldayev (Bir Bol) and the deputy from Ata Meken faction, Natalya Nikitenko — voted against ratification.

The agenda of the session included the issue of ratification of the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the joint border, signed in Bishkek on September 5, 2017.
