The deputies of the Parliament consider the ratification of the agreement on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border behind closed doors. The first attempt to adopt the document failed because of a lack of quorum.
87 deputies were registered at today's meeting. The document will be presented personally by the Prime Minister of the country Sapar Isakov.
At the beginning of the meeting, the deputy Dastan Bekeshev suggested making it partially open. He believes that it is possible to present a report on the border to the public, but answer questions without the participation of the press.
However, the deputies didn’t agree with this proposal. 72 deputies voted for making the meeting completely closed, against — 14.
