The checkpoint Baymak-Avtodorozhniy on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border resumed work under simplified procedure. The corresponding decree of the government was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, this border crossing point was temporarily closed in the Kyrgyz part of the Eurasian Economic Union border for citizens, transport, moving of cargo, goods and animals since May 2016.
The adopted government decision provides for a passage under a simplified procedure — without customs, veterinary, phytosanitary and drug control. Exception is border control.
