About 500 million soms are allocated for the development of the state language, but only 142 million were used, MP Ryskeldi Mombekov said at a meeting today.
«142 million were spent not on the development of state language, but on destroying it. It is necessary to create a deputy commission and find out where, to whom and how much money was given. Main part was allocated to the Ministry of Culture and the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, but to the National Commission for the development of state language only about 2-3 million soms,» the Deputy is indignant.
He noted that the Ministry of Education was headed by a person who doesn’t speak state language. «There is Galina Vasilkova, she is Russian, but she teaches the Kyrgyz language at KRSU. She should be put on this post. Then the pride of the Kyrgyz would be mortified, then they would start learning the language,» Ryskeldi Mombekov added.
