504 people died on roads of Kyrgyzstan in 2017

For 8 months of 2017, 504 people died on the roads in Kyrgyzstan and 6,909 people were injured. This was announced today at a press conference by the Deputy Head of the Main Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Imanaly Sarkulov.

According to him, 3,904 road accidents were registered on the territory of the republic, which is 8.1% more than in the same period of 2016.

913 accidents with participation of children were registered, in which 60 minors died and 1,051 children were injured.

As for participation of drivers of right-hand drive vehicles, 1,200 traffic accidents were registered, which is 31.3% of the total number of accidents.
