The Ministry of Education and Science allocates more than 4.7 million soms for the replication of 27 kinds of textbooks in the Kyrgyz language for schools in the republic, the state procurement portal informed.
These are textbooks on political science, Manas studies, Kyrgyz architecture, economics, biochemistry, foreign literature of the XIX-XX centuries, folk Kyrgyz music, building materials and others.
According to the Ministry of Education, the schools are provided with textbooks on average by 83.6 percent. However, in some schools parents are forced to buy them because of their lack in libraries.
