Theater from Kyrgyzstan takes part in opening of “Tuganlyk” festival in Ufa

Youth theater «Uchur» from Kyrgyzstan took part in the opening of the festival «Tuganlyk» in Ufa. This was reported by «Bashinform» news agency.

According to it, the 6th International Festival of Turkic-speaking theaters «Tuganlyk» opened yesterday in Ufa. The festival participants in costumes and flags of different countries and republics passed through the streets of the city.

Nominations, members of the jury and board of critics of the festival were presented. The participants were greeted by the chairman of the jury of the festival — the well-known director, artistic director of the Orenburg Regional Drama Theater named after M. Gorky, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Rifkat Israfilov and a member of the board of critics, theater critic Andrey Yastrebov (Moscow).

The festival «Tuganlyk» will be held from September 7 to 14. The theatrical forum gathered creative collectives of the Turkic world from Khakassia, Kyrgyzstan, Dagestan, Azerbaijan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chuvashia, Kazakhstan, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.

On September 9, Ufa residents will see drama «Kyyamat» based on the work of Chingiz Aitmatov «Plakha».
