Foreigners have opportunity to register electronic visas to Kyrgyzstan

In order to facilitate the procedure for obtaining visas of the Kyrgyz Republic, the «Electronic Visa» system was introduced on September 1, 2017. This was reported by the information department of the government.

It is noted that the «Electronic Visa» system allows citizens of all foreign states to obtain entry-exit tourist or business visas of Kyrgyzstan for up to 90 days on the site www.evisa.e-gov.kg without the need to contact Kyrgyz diplomatic missions or consular offices abroad, as well as to visa points at international checkpoints across the state border.

According to the government, an electronic visa doesn’t require more information than a regular visa application, and guarantees the same rights to enter Kyrgyzstan as a regular visa in a passport.
