Illegal immigrants in Russia are liable to new fines. Restrictions that were not legally prescribed before are introduced, Russian media reported.

It is noted that the Code of Administrative Offenses in Russia will be supplemented with new articles relating to migrants who arrived for earnings. The draft changes submitted to Russian President Vladimir Putin for signature.

Violation of the rules of crossing the border by ordinary foreign persons and vehicles will entail the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of 2,000 to 5,000 rubles (previously it was not charged).

Penalties for officials and legal entities are the same — from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles and from 400,000 to 800,000 rubles.
