A large batch of mercury was detained in during a search operation, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the reported.
It is noted that on August Honda Fit car was detained in Bishkek, in which a metal cylinder with mercury weighing was found.
On suspicion of committing a crime under Article 254 of Parts 2 and 3 (illegal traffic of strong or poisonous substances for sale) of the Criminal Code of the detained K.A.Zh. and M.M.A.
They are placed in Bishkek SIZO-1. The investigation is under way.
