Cars can save the snow leopard and its habitat. The idea of ​​an international forum on the conservation of the snow leopard and its ecosystems was suggested by the head of UNDP’s ecosystems and biodiversity program Midori Paxton.

According to her, there is a practice in the USA when state agencies sell to citizens car plates with the silhouettes of wild animals.

For such numbers, people pay $ 20 annually. These funds are directed to activities to conserve wild animals and their habitats.

Bishkek hosts an international forum on the conservation of the snow leopard and its ecosystems. Delegates from 12 countries, and representatives of international and donor organizations, participate in it.
