New faces to appear in government of Kyrgyzstan. SDPK discusses candidates

Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Temir Dzhumakadyrov may take the post of Vice Prime Minister, overseeing the power block — Zhenish Razakov. 24.kg news agency was informed about this in SDPK parliamentary faction.

Today, the Social Democrats are considering the composition of the government proposed by the main contender for the post of Cabinet head Sapar Isakov.

Earlier, 24.kg news agency reported that the head of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov could take the post of First Vice Prime Minister Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev. The same position is claimed by the acting Head of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Mineral Resources Duishenbek Zilaliev. But he will get the chair of Oleg Pankratov. In the government, he is responsible for the integration of Kyrgyzstan into the EEU.

The current first deputy prime minister Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev will be sent to the Ministry of Finance.

The economy minister Arzybek Kozhoshev may lose his portfolio. This post is likely to be taken by the head of the department of financial and economic analysis and monitoring of the development of the presidential staff Artem Novikov.

The post of the head of the government’s office Akylbek Osmonaliev can go to Nurkhanbek Momunaliev. He headed his press service at Asylbek Jeenbekov (when he was a speaker).

Deputy Chairman Ulan Ryskulov is proposed for the post of the head of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use. The State Committee for Communications may be headed by Nurbek Abaskanov, deputy chairman of the board of the National Energy Holding Company.

The head of state asked the speaker of the parliament to convene an extraordinary session of the parliament. On Monday, Sooronbai Jeenbekov resigned in connection with the fact that he is running for presidency. His candidacy was put forward at the congress of the Social Democrats on July 15. The CEC has registered Sooronbai Jeenbekov as a presidential candidate.
