Erkin Bayev was appointed chief of the Main Staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported in the ministry.
Earlier, the post was held by Ularbek Sharsheev, appointed in July by the chairman of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.
In May 2017, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction, was asked to consider the issue of adequacy of Erkin Bayev, the head of the Main Department of Patrol Service for his post.
