The presidential candidate Sooronbai Jeenbekov has already begun distributing campaign materials. This was reported by activist Adil Turdukulov.
On his Facebook page, he posted photos from the booklet. «They distribute an advertising leaflet of the newly-resigned prime minister. There is no release date, circulation, customer and manufacturer. In the booklet, the current high-ranking civil servants, including Sapar Isakov, give positive characteristics regarding the candidate, which should be characterized as an unacceptable form of campaigning. Tomorrow I’m going to complain to the CEC,» Adil Turdukulov wrote.
This is not the first complaint against Sooronbai Jeenbekov. The Coalition «For Democracy and Civil Society» stated that the nominee from the SDPK takes advantage of the official position, remaining prime minister of the country, travels to the regions, where he tells about his work. Civil activists regard this as agitation. The CEC didn’t consider this a violation.
Representatives of Temir Sariev and Rita Karasartova addressed similar complaints to the Central Election Commission. They were also dismissed.
