Third phase of Suusamyr–Taraz road сonstruction to be completed by end of August

Until the end of August, the third phase of the reconstruction of Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz highway will be completed, the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.

According to it, the second layer of asphalt is being laid from 75^th to 105^th km of the road. The company «Chakyr Yapy Sanayiwe Tizharet» (Turkey) is engaged in construction.

The project is financed by the Islamic Development Bank ($ 10 million) and the Saudi Development Fund ($ 10 million), the co-financing of the Kyrgyz government is $ 2.08 million, the total cost of the project is $ 22.08 million.

The warranty period for the liability for defects is until August 2018.
