The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the reports that, according to Article 113 of the Labor Code, Kurman Ait, determined by the lunar calendar, is a non-working holiday.
In accordance with the letter of Muslims Spiritual Directorate of Kyrgyzstan, September 1, 2017 is determined as the day of celebration.
Total Kyrgyzstanis will rest for four days: from August 31 (Independence Day) to September 3, inclusive.
