September 1 declared day off in Kyrgyzstan – Kurman Ait

September 1 is declared a day off in Kyrgyzstan — Kurman ait celebration.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, according to Article 113 of the Labor Code, Kurman Ait, determined by the lunar calendar, is a non-working holiday.

In accordance with the letter of Muslims Spiritual Directorate of Kyrgyzstan, September 1, 2017 is determined as the day of celebration.

Total Kyrgyzstanis will rest for four days: from August 31 (Independence Day) to September 3, inclusive.
