Zanoza should pay to president 3 million soms for publication of commentary

Zanoza website must pay 3 million soms to the president of Kyrgyzstan for the publication of the commentary by Omurbek Tekebayev. The decision was made by the judge of Pervomaisky District Court Almaz Kalybayev.

Earlier, Prosecutor General Indira Dzoldubaeva, defending the honor and dignity of President Almazbek Atambayev, demanded 13 million soms in compensation for moral damage (10 million from Azattyk and 3 million from Zanoza.kg) for the publication of Ata Meken party leader Omurbek Tekebayev’s comments published on the websites of publications about his trip to Cyprus.

However, at the request of the country’s president, the Prosecutor-General’s Office withdrew the claim against Azattyk.
