The Central Election Commission today registered the second presidential candidate — Omurbek Babanov.
The politician passed the examination for knowledge of the state language, taking the third place among those wishing to run for the main post of the country (93.5 points). In addition, he provided 107,000 subscription lists, of which 103,165 were recognized as valid, and contributed 1 million soms as an electoral deposit.
The first registered presidential candidate was Temir Sariev.
For today, the number of applicants is 51 people, but their number is likely to decrease in the coming days.
