Since August 16, 2017, voters can clarify their data in the lists. Nurzhan Shayldabekova, the head of the Central Election Commission, said this at a press conference today.

«The registration period will last until September 10. In relation to citizens, the stage of checking and clarifying themselves in the voter lists begins. Lists will be posted at polling stations on August 16. One can also check information in the lists online on the site shailoo.srs.kg,» the chairman of the Central Election Commission said.

In addition, one can apply to the SRS at telephone number 119. By sending an SMS with your personal identification number, at the same time you can receive a message indicating the number and address of the area where the voter is assigned.

«During the presidential elections the entire territory is a single electoral district. Therefore, citizens can vote not only at the place of residence, but also at the place of actual residence. For this it is necessary to file an appropriate application by September 30 personally,» the head of the CEC noted.

In the preliminary list there are 2,914,588 of voters-Kyrgyzstanis. 30 days before the voting there will be a checklist.

The elections are scheduled for October 15, 2017.
