Issyk-Kul region to mark 140th anniversary of Yrdyk village

The 140th anniversary of the creation of Yrdyk village, where the Dungans predominantly live, will be marked in Issyk-Kul region of . Deputy Head of Jeti-Oguz district administration Rakhat Isakova told 24.kg news agency.

According to her, the anniversary of the village will be on August 19. Concert of the local stars, theatrical performance and a scientific conference are timed to the anniversary.

Delegations from , , as well as representatives of the Dungan diaspora from Chui region were invited to the event. Yrdyk rural administration allocated 200,000 soms from its budget for the celebration and 50,000 were allocated by the authorized representative of the government in the region.
