Omurbek Tekebayev's supporters stop hunger strike

Supporters of the accused of corruption MP Omurbek Tekebayev stopped hunger strike. The headquarters of Ata Meken party told 24.kg news agency that the strike was stopped because it did not give results — presidential candidate Omurbek Tekebayev was not allowed to pass the state language exam.

The hunger strike of the supporters of Ata Meken leader began on July 31, it was held by five people. Later, Omurbek Tekebayev’s supporters in Bazar-Korgon joined the strike.

Yesterday, the CEC refused to create conditions for the defendant Tekebayev for passing the state language exam.
