Academy of Civil Aviation aircraft crashes near Almaty

A training aircraft Tecnam P2002 crashed 43 kilometers from Almaty. Tengrinews.kz reported with reference to the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.

The plane crashed at 09.53 am local time. Two people died: the pilot-instructor and a cadet.

According to preliminary information from the Civil Aviation Committee, the aircraft crashed during the execution of the training mission after take-off. Tecnam P2002 fell at a distance of two kilometers from Azem flying field.

Investigation was started.
