Bakhadyr Suleymanov, a member of Parliament from Ata Meken faction, won a court case against journalist Zulfiya Sukhuza. She headed the newspaper under the Dungan diaspora, chairman of which is Suleimanov himself.
In April 2015, Zulfiya Sukhuza gave a press conference and accused the people’s deputy that «he hid 2 million soms from the sale of the newspaper, $ 30,000 — for a special issue for the Chinese side and he owed 55,000 soms personally to her (Sukhuza).»
After two-year trial, the court ruled: to recognize the information voiced by Sukhuza at the press conference not true and to recover from her in favor of the deputy Bakhadyr Suleymanov 10,000 soms.
