New trolleybuses to appear in Bishkek in September. Tender for buses announced

New trolleybuses are expected to be delivered to Bishkek in September. The deputy mayor of the city Gennady Militsky informed 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the tender was held, the documents were sent to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for approval.

A Russian company was recognized the winner for the supply of low-floor trolleybuses, Belarusian company — for middle-floor trolleybuses.

A loan of almost €8 million was received for purchase of trolleybuses.

In addition, a tender for the purchase of buses was announced. 103 million soms were allocated from the local budget for this purpose.
