Four Kyrgyz films to be shown at Ural Open Festival

Four films from Kyrgyzstan will be shown at the Ural Open Festival, which will be held on September 2-8 in Yekaterinburg (Russia). Press center of the film forum informed 24.kg news agency.

According to it, within the framework of the out-of-competition «Palette» program these are: «A Father’s will» (Bakyt Mukul and Dastan Zhapar uulu), «Sutak» (Mirlan Abdykalykov), «Under Heaven» (Dalmira Tilepbergenova), «The Move» (Marat Sarulu).

According to festival director Vladimir Makerants, 119 films will be shown in 2017, in total 140 applications were submitted. The jury chairman this year is the Russian director and script writer Andrey Proshkin.

The films will be shown in 20 cinemas in Yekaterinburg and the region.
