Deputies of the Parliament will meet for an extraordinary session on August 21. The leader of SDPK parliamentary faction, Isa Omurkulov, informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, people’s deputies will elect a new prime minister and approve the composition of the government. It should be noted that at a press conference in Cholpon-Ata on July 24, President Almazbek Atambayev, answering journalists' questions, said that the people’s deputies will form a new Cabinet until September.
Recall, Sooronbay Jeenbekov was nominated a single candidate for presidential elections from SDPK party on July 15. Therefore, he resigns as head of government.
