Movies by Kyrgyz film directors to be screened at International Film Festival

Films by Kyrgyz film directors will be shown at the International Film Festival in Sydney. Producer Nika Zholdosheva told.

According to her, the debut short films by two young directors — Farida Seitalieva (Manaschi) and Ayzhamal Bolotova (Moonlight Sonata) were included in the contest program of the 20^th Auburn Film Festival, which will be held on September 18-22 in Sydney, Australia.

Both of the films were included in one contest category- Tadgell’s Bluebell Honor Award, which includes films from 28 countries.

The documentary by Farida Seitalieva Manaschi tells about the phenomenon of origination of storytellers of ancient epics.

Moonlight Sonata is a film about a young girl named Amina, a music school student, who, in spite of the parents' divorce and unrequited love for a young guy, tries to find the strength to play Moonlight Sonata.
