President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev presented the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with a thoroughbred horse for his birthday. Turkmenistan Today news agency reported.
It is noted that the day before Almazbek Atambayev had a telephone conversation with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the initiative of the Turkmen side.
«Having warmly greeted his Kyrgyz colleague, the Turkmen leader thanked him for his wonderful birthday gift — the beautiful thoroughbred horse Tirasco, noting that he regards it as a sign of sincere friendship and respect," the agency says.
It is noted that on September 17 to 27, 2017, Ashgabat will host the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Almazbek Atambayev to take part in the solemn opening ceremony of the competitions.
