Dollar rate in Kyrgyzstan rises in price by 30 tyiyns for week

Dollar rate in Kyrgyzstan rised in price for the second week in a row. Over the past seven days, the US currency has risen in price by 30 tyiyns.

Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy the dollar for 68.7–68.8 soms, and sell - for 69–69.1 soms. Now the rate is almost at the same level as in early January 2017. The nominal rate was set at 68,9239 soms (growth of 0.11 percent per day).

Note, the exchange rate of the Russian ruble remains at the level of last week — 1.15–1.17 soms — after a fall of 20 tyiyns. Kazakh tenge still costs 0.2–0.22 soms.
