Accused of PRC Embassy explosion sentenced to 38 years in prison

A verdict on explosion in the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China was announced the day before.

The court found all the defendants — Hasamidin Ismailov, Khikmatillo Abdulazhanov and Kunazim Mansirova — guilty of committing a terrorist attack on the territory of the diplomatic mission.

Hasamidin Ismailov was sentenced to 18 years in prison with confiscation of property and with serving his sentence in a penal colony with reinforced regime.

Khikmatillo Abdulazhanov was sentenced to 10 years in jail with confiscation of property and serving his sentence in a penal colony with reinforced regime.

Kunazim Mansirova was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property and serving a sentence in a penal colony for convicted women.

Recall, an explosion occurred on August 30, 2016 in the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek. The suicide bomber rammed an automatic gate of the diplomatic mission by car and exploded. Two gardeners of the diplomatic mission were injured.
