Emergency Situations Ministry rescuer dies in Batken mine

A rescuer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan died in a mine in Batken. Press service of the ministry reported.

According to it, on June 26, rescuers were poisoned by carbon monoxide in Erkin Ken mine. One of them died at the scene, he was a resident of Isfana, born in 1987. The second rescuer, born in 1997, also a resident of Isfana, was taken to the hospital.

A fire broke out in this mine on June 5. Rescuers were installing a fire barrier there.
