The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan extended the ban on felling, transportation, purchase and sale, export of particularly valuable wood species until 2030. The amendments were adopted today in the third reading.
At the same time, felling is allowed in the production of construction and blasting operations, laying cables, pipelines, transport routes and other communications, conducting research, geological study and industrial development of subsurface resources.
The law will be sent to the President for signature.
