Minister of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan Zhamshitbek Kalilov told about the construction of the Balykchi — Cholpon-Ata — Korumdu road during the tourist season.
According to him, one layer of asphalt was completely laid. «There are no byroads anywhere, all bridges are covered," the minister said.
As he noted, the department needs one week, after which all the equipment of the contractor will be transferred to the site from 93rd to 104th km of the road.
«A contractor will work for a month or two, after the end of the tourist season, we’ll move the equipment back to the site from the 80th to the 90th km and on the site from Tamchy to Balykchi," the head of the transport department said.
