Over 3,000 domestic violence cases registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2017

For 5 months of 2017, at least 3,119 cases of domestic violence were registered in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan stated today in Parliament.

According to them, the same number of temporary protection orders was issued, including 109 — to women.

For this period, 100 criminal cases on domestic violence were instituted, including two murder cases.
