Ruslan Sarymsakov: We will challenge Ak-Keme seizure in international courts

«We will challenge the seizure of Ak-Keme hotel in international courts," its head Ruslan Sarymsakov told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the hotel complex is a Kyrgyz-Malaysian enterprise, where 17 percent of shares belong to the foreign state.

«This is nonsense, when such a decree is issued by the government. It is judicial lawlessness," Ruslan Sarymsakov said.

He wondered: «How does the Prime Minister intend to run for presidential post if he starts working with illegal actions?»

«Sooronbay Jeenbekov, when signing an order, does not even look at what is being slipped in to him. We wrote to him that the document contradicts the Constitution and other laws of Kyrgyzstan. I met with him, he promised to solve the problem," Ruslan Sarymsakov said.

Recall the second auction for the sale of Ak-Keme hotel failed in autumn 2016, like the first one. The Ministry of Finance reported. Thus, the hotel was transferred to its balance.

The starting price was 955, 805 million soms. Before the second auction, the hotel cost decreased by 10 percent.

The Judicial Department earlier told that the court executors have a document on recovery from Ak-Keme 452, 487 million soms in favor of the Ministry of Finance.

Today early in the morning, policemen cordoned off the hotel. All employees were taken out of the building. All guests remain in the rooms. Most of them are foreigners.
