A 35/10 kV transformer with a capacity of 16,000 kilovolt-amperes and a cost of 12.5 million soms was installed in Karakol town. Press service of Vostokelectro OJSC reported.
According to it, to successfully pass the autumn-winter season 2017/2018, the transformer was installed at Achikeev substation and should provide more than 3,500 consumers of Karakol with electricity.
It is noted that this is the first power transformer with such capacity.
