The Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Russia discussed the outcomes of the talks during dinner. The ceremonial dinner was held by Vladimir Putin in honor of Almazbek Atambayev and his wife Raisa, the press service of the Kremlin reported.
It is noted that at the beginning of the meeting, Vladimir Putin noted that negotiations with the President of Kyrgyzstan were held in a businesslike, constructive and friendly atmosphere. He thanked Almazbek Atambayev and his Kyrgyz colleagues for their openness to cooperation and sincere desire to develop mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation.

Kyrgyzstan are linked by centuries-old traditions, friendship and good-neighborliness, strong ties of strategic partnership and alliance. This reliable foundation allows us to confidently move forward. Our states closely cooperate in political, economic, humanitarian and military-technical spheres, actively cooperate within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union," Vladimir Putin noted.
Russia and Kyrgyzstan together are engaged in ensuring security and stability in Central Asia, fighting international terrorism, illegal drug trafficking, organized crime.

He drew attention to the fact that the Declaration on the Strengthening of the Alliance and the Strategic Partnership signed by the heads of state not only summed up the results of many years of successful cooperation in various directions, but also set new ambitious tasks for the future.
Almazbek Atambayev said that he is very excited these days and is touched by the attitude to the delegation, to himself and the high estimation that is given to the work done during his presidency in Kyrgyzstan.
The President of Kyrgyzstan confessed that all these years with Vladimir Putin, they not only often argued about their work, but sometimes they just discussed issues of history.
We discussed many questions, joked. I remember once we talked about… Baikal, Yenisei, Saratov, Siberia. Vladimir Vladimirovich says: «I realized that these are Kyrgyz names, but don’t ask for them back."

I think that one day the Russian Altai will be a sacred center for many peoples who live in Central Asia, China, and the Black Sea. All this will become once the sacred center in Russia. Many peoples will understand that Russia is a center of friendship, a country that only bears a good, bright light, no matter how some forces in the world either build or try to create a demon, demonize Russia," the head of Kyrgyzstan added.
He noted that «all these stupidities are already getting ridiculous." But he is sure that the leader of Russia has never tried to do anything wrong with any country.
«I know that often those who blame Russia or its president simply don’t look in the mirror. If they looked, they would see the true culprit of all this tension, the pressure in the world. I really love Russia, Russian literature, Russian people. We must save the feeling of brotherhood, kinship between our countries. I think that over the years we have managed to start it. I think every year it will only strengthen. I want to continue to do so that our peoples remember the common history, common roots and that no one can ever separate Kyrgyzstan from its ancestral homeland, from the brotherly people," Almazbek Atambayev concluded.
