SMD: Orozo Ait to be celebrated on June 25 in Kyrgyzstan

Orozo Ait in Kyrgyzstan will be celebrated on Sunday, June 25. The urgent message was distributed by the Spiritual Muslims Directorate of Kyrgyzstan.

As its press service explained to 24.kg news agency, the decision was made because neighboring countries — Kazakhstan, Turkey and Russia — celebrate Ait on June 25.

Earlier it was reported that Orozo Ait falls on Monday, June 26. The beginning and end of the month of Ramadan is defined in the KR according to the moon.

Regardless of whether Orozo Ait will be on June 25 or 26, Monday, June 26, under the Labor Code will be a day off in Kyrgyzstan.
