Vladimir Putin tells about dinner with Almazbek Atambayev

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin told what he was talking about with the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev during a casual dinner. He stated this today at the beginning of the negotiations of the leaders in narrow format.

According to him, yesterday the presidents «had an opportunity to talk about the whole complex of relations in a sufficiently long and calm atmosphere." In particular, the presidents discussed regional issues and some international problems.

«I am glad that today we have an opportunity, narrowly and broadly, to talk in detail with our colleagues about building bilateral relations," Vladimir Putin said.

Almazbek Atambayev admitted that yesterday the heads of state had a good opportunity to sum up the results, because the term of his presidency is almost over and Kyrgyzstan will have a new president in few months.

Almazbek Atambayev is in Russia with a state visit. The day before, almost immediately after his arrival in Moscow, he met with his counterpart during a casual dinner. Today, the parties will hold bilateral talks in a narrow and expanded format.
