Meeting of Council of Heads of CIS Customs Services to be held in Kyrgyzstan

The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS member states will be held in Kyrgyzstan in the fourth quarter of 2017. Such a decision was made at the 65th meeting held in Baku on June 14, the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According its data, representatives of the customs services of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States took part in the 65th meeting of the Council.

Participants of the meeting discussed a number of topical issues aimed at improving the current customs legislation and its application.

The Council approved documents aimed at changing the provisions of a number of Agreements.

Also, following the meeting, a protocol was signed between the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan and the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of vocational training and professional development of personnel.
