The work on connecting 765 schools to the Internet is being held in Kyrgyzstan, 70 percent of them will have access to the Network by the beginning of the new school year in September, the Minister of Education and Science Gulmira Kudaiberdieva said today at a press conference.
According to her, the remaining 30 percent will be connected by November 2017.
The work on the preparation of new textbooks is also being carried out. «In 2015, for the first time in the country the subject standards were approved. With the support of donors, manuscripts of textbooks for grades 5–9 have been developed. Their approbation is already beginning, and during the next school year they will be printed," the minister said.
