Anthrax burial site in Jalal-Abad region may be flooded

Avletim River in Aksy approached the anthrax burial site. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to its data, the level of the river continues to rise. Now it approached the anthrax burial site. It is noted that the burial ground in Aksy appeared in 1984, 50 square meters have been concreted there.

Recall, emergency situation was introduced on May 14 in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad region in connection with the increase in rivers' water level.

Bank protection works with use of special equipment are being conducted.
