Customs officers of the department for combating offences stopped an attempt of illegal import of goods into the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The State Customs Service reported.
According to its press service, a Kyrgyz citizen who drove DAF truck with state number plates of the and a trailer could not present documents confirming the legality of import of goods into the customs .
When examining the cargo compartment of the car, the officers found 22 tons of duck breasts of foreign production with a total value of 5.60 million soms.
The case was transferred to the prosecutor’s office of region.
